Antique rocking horses and toys
I maintain possibly the largest collection of rocking horses and moving horse toys anywhere. Being a commercial collection, it changes rapidly, though I endeavour to keep it as broad and comprehensive as possible. Rocking horses are addictive, so my premises in Chirbury, in the Shropshire Hills is well worth the visit. There is always more stock than listed on the website, some needs working on or I simply haven't had time yet to get studio photos and hence onto my website.
Rocking horses are more than just pieces of wood. They usually stay with families for generations, certainly in that respect one of my fine antiques would make a special investment as a family heirloom. Take your time in finding the rocking horse for you, but your quest should begin with this collection. Do you like originality? something fully restored? and quirky or different?
